Airport pickups

All airport pickups and transportation to and from your hotel are included in our safari packages.
Any other additional transport needed maybe arranged at additional costs

Do I need a visa?

A visa is required to enter Tanzania. Visa fees vary depending on your country. You can present your paperwork and obtain your visa upon arrival at your port of entry or at the nearest Tanzanian Consulate or Embassy from the country you are visiting. Vaccines

A malaria immunization is required. Please consult your local doctor or the Center for Disease Control regarding proper vaccination and/or the use of anti-malarial tablets prior to departure. Documentation is required; please double check before you book.

Safari clothes

Bring comfortable, casual and semi-casual clothing. Wear colors that will blend in with the bush: khakis, brown, olive green, etc. Clothes should be light and breathable. Bring a night time jumper and a sweater to keep you warm.  

Internet access

Access to the Internet is available at most of our lodges, however; coverage is sometimes limited so please be sure to ask about the specific lodge booked for.

Insurance

Please bring all your travel insurance and health insurance cards with you on your trip. If you have questions about insurance or coverage while in Tanzania please ask one of our representatives.

Length of game drives

Game drives vary with the seasons, but a typical morning drive goes from approximately 6:00 am until 12:00 noon. Afternoon game drives are usually from noon until 4:00 pm.

Special dietary needs

We can accommodate a variety of special dietary needs. Please fill out these dietary forms and be sure to mention it to our representative when booking your safari. We can also have special arrangements made for you depending on your preference.

Additional expenses and tips

All our safaris include meals, transportation and accommodations. Please plan for additional incidental expenses which may include souvenirs and alcoholic beverages. Gratuities and tips are not included in your fees, but they always appreciated.

Medications

While town and cities in Tanzania have drugstores and pharmacies that can fill your prescriptions, you may want to bring any necessary medications with you on your trip. Please consult with your doctor prior to booking.
